Farfetch launches holiday campaign, teams up with Westwood

This Christmas sees the launch of fashion e-tailer Farfetch’s holiday campaign, “Farfetch Curates: The Holidays.”

The e-tailer worked with 100 of its global boutique partners to create a campaign that lets customers shop boutique windows 24/7 using QR technology. The QR codes will be in windows from November 17 to December 2. The Farfetch website will also feature easy to navigate gift guides, and gift-buying secrets from fashion insiders.

Farfetch also teamed up with iconic British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, who has created an exclusive complimentary gift wrap for the e-tailer. Among other things, the wrap, which is made from 100% recycled paper, was inspired by the prints and graphics from Westwood’s current catwalk collection.

The designer said: “The wrapping paper is made from 100% recycled paper and is designed to be used over and over again. After unwrapping a gift the recipient passes the paper on – to wrap another present, to wrap themselves in, or to hand the paper back to the giver to be used again.”
