Bella Hadid stuns in first campaign for Dior Beauty
The supermodel took to Instagram to share a photo from the shoot, showing off a killer cat-eye, thanks to an electric blue liner and some seriously big lashes. The snap sees her holding up a tube of the Diorshow “Pump ‘N’ Volume” mascara.
Reassuringly, it seems that even supermodels like Bella still get excited about working with the big guns. Her caption alongside the photo read: “Wow GOOD MORNING!!! @diormakeup My first official Dior Beauty campaign! This is such a crazy, magical, massive honor for me to work for such an iconic brand that I have wanted to be a part of my entire life!!! I have dreamt about this moment since I was a child!!! I am still in shock!” She went on to thank everyone involved in the campaign, from her mother to her modelling agency and Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Christian Dior Makeup.
Dior first unveiled Bella as its makeup ambassador back in May 2016, in what was a major scoop for the supermodel. The contract sees her following in the footsteps of stars including Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence, who was announced as the face of the Dior Addict makeup line last May, and model Eva Herzigová, who acted as the face for the brand’s Capture Total Serum in 2014 and 2015. During the course of the year she took to the catwalk for the first time for the house, walking in its Haute Couture and Cruise 2017 shows.
